This station is a low cost CPE, based on a MikroTik RouterBoard RB711-2Hn, which is capable to work in 802.11b/g/n (2.4GHz band). The RB711-2Hn includes RouterOS - the operating system, which can be a router, firewall, bandwidth manager, a CPE and more - all at the same time. The integrated on-board wireless card has output power up to 27dBm. Gain of antenna is 14dBi, so total output could be close to 40dBi (10W!).
ATTENTION!
Maximum allowed radiated output power E.I.R.P. for 2.4GHz band in European Union is equal to 100mW (20dB). For outdoor usage of this device you have to software adjust its output power down!
The CPE came as a kit for self assembly, but its assembling is easy and intuitive. In few minutes you will have device ready to mount on a mast. The gland on the bottom protects the antenna from water and heavy weather conditions.
