Universal outdoor enclosure AluBox SCAME made from a very tought aluminium fullfills the IP-66 hermetic class. With its excellent mechanical resistance and the strength to counter climatic and environmental stresses, the ALUBOX is articularly well suited to be mounted outside (on free air) or in harsh environments like heavy industry installations, installations right beside machines, industrial automation, board ships, plants etc.

The AluBox - SCAME aluminium junction boxes are suitable to be used in environments of major fire risk (CEI 64/8 part 7) and AD-FT installations according to the CEI 64-2 specifications.


Package include:
  • aluminnium box with hole (one or two holes) for N-female pigtails and waterproof cable chokes (PG) - for ethernet or power cable
  • two mast mountings (from the top and bottom of the enclosure) with clamp for mounting on masts
  • universal mounting plate (mounted inside the enclosure) with holes that makes possible mounting one of the embedded mainboards: WRAP-2C and RouterBoard series (RB-511, RB-512, RB-532)
  • set of mounting screw
  • waterproof cable choke - PG type (or two - depending of the version) with diameter suitable for N-type connector (after dismounting the choke)

  • Enclosures and covers die-cast in aluminium alloy UNI 7369/2nd, supplied with blank walls and cover on, with screws for - attaching the cover and for earthing
  • The outside of the enclosure is varnished giving an attractive appearance, while the inside has been left rough to guarantee the electrical continuity
  • Perforated zinc coated steel mounting plates can be attached to the enclosures, they are used for attaching equipment, terminals, etc...
